C.J.'s
STORY
C.J. was an English major. After reading about other people's adventures, she went on to have some of her own: teaching English in Japan, studying poetry writing in the New Mexico desert, and editing Lonely Planet travel guides. On the outskirts of Silicon Valley, she worked in online journalism and digital marketing for companies like Yahoo and Google. She was COO of a successful media start-up, freelanced for the Wall Street Journal, and handled media for a presidential campaign.

During the pandemic, she read that graduates with English degrees are currently the least happy with their major when they enter the workforce. She knew she had to do something. This coaching practice is designed to share everything she knows about the unique talents of English majors and how to leverage them to go after your dreams.
